Volunteer: Nature Con 2026Nature Con is a full-on celebration of Nature, creativity, and community- and our volunteers make the whole thing happen! If you like being outside, meeting like-minded people, and helping others connect with the natural world, this event is for you! Help us make this festival unforgettable and share the magic of the Fort Worth Nature Center with the public! If you are interested in participating, please register here, and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you. Volunteers will be provided with badges & refreshments for the day. Volunteer roles include: Discovery Trail Tables: Help us host hands-on, nature-themed educational tables along our "Discovery Trail" stations. Share cool facts and guide simple activities for participants along the trail.Canoe Guides: help guests enjoy canoeing safely! Assist with launching, basic paddle instruction, and on-the-water support. Prior canoe/kayak experience is preferred.Games & Crafts Stations: Help run prepared nature-themed games and craft activities for kids and families!Set-up & Tear-down Crew: help us bring Nature Con to life and pack it up when it's complete!
