Opportunities From: City of Fort Worth Volunteer Programs

Hours will vairy depending on what age group you would like to volunteer for.

As a volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for visitors of all ages. Your responsibilities may include greeting guests, answering basic questions, setting up rooms for events or classes, and assisting staff during programs such as workshops, sports activities, or youth events.

You might also help with organizing supplies, light cleaning, decorating for events, or supporting special programs like food drives. Volunteers often interact with families, and seniors, so being friendly, patient, and reliable is important.

Dare to be the fright of the night!  We're looking for energetic volunteers to join our haunted house as a scare actors, you'll bring spooky scenes to life by startling guests, staying in character, and creating a thrilling, unforgettable experience.  No acting experience needed just enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for all things scary.  Please provide your own scary costume, get ready to have fun and give some good scares!

Help us bring the celebration to life this Diez y Seis de Septiembre!  We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with decorating, food service, setup, and activities as we honor Mexican Independence Day.  It's a fun and meaningful way to support the community, share culture, and create a welcoming, festive atmosphere for everyone.  Come and lend a hand and be a part of a vibrant, joyful celebration!

Volunteers are invited to support our Back-to-School event, helping students and families prepare for a successful academic year. Responsibilities may include distributing school supplies, assisting with event setup and organization, guiding families through activity stations, and providing general support to ensure the event runs smoothly. Volunteers may also help with check-in, crowd flow, and answering basic questions.

Volunteer with a youth tennis program for children ages 5–12, assisting coaches with drills, teaching basic tennis skills, and helping create a fun and supportive environment for young players to learn the game.

Becoming a Zumba instructor volunteer is a great way to share fitness, build community, and gain experience—especially if you’re passionate about dance and wellness

Come be a part of a team and make a friend with one of our senior citizens by helping them with arts and crafts, gym activities, Bingo, Chair Exercises and many more exciting activities.  

Teen Opportunity.

Teens will engage in diverse task at the Community Center, assisting with break camps after-school programs, single day camps, an events, and acquiring valuable experience in teamwork and community center operations. 

Kiki's Club is an adult 18 & up Special Needs program, the group gets together and enjoys arts and crafts, cooking, karaoke, field trips, and many more exciting activities.
