Who We Are
Fort Worth Teen Court's mission is to teach youth how to be accountable for their actions, understand there are consequences to breaking the law and have the opportunity to learn about the court system with other youth.
What We Do
Fort Worth Teen Court assists local youth with obtaining dismissal of their Fort Worth Class C tickets by attending a teen court hearing where youth are their jury. We collaborate with youth and adult volunteers who serve as jurors, defense attorneys, prosecutors, bailiffs, judges, and attorney trainers. The opportunity to learn public speaking skills, obtain free training from real attorneys and work in an actual courtroom is what makes Teen Court unique.
