Who We Are
Our mission is to grow, maintain, and provide quality trees for the City of Fort Worth’s community tree canopy.
What We Do
Open volunteer workdays are weekly on Fridays from 9am-noon (8AM-11AM in the Summer). Groups of up to 30 can contact Forestry to reserve a private volunteer workday at the Rolling Hills Tree Farm from January through May and September through November. Projects vary by season, but often including transplanting trees into containers; planting in the tree fields; weeding; staking trees; and organizing the tree inventory. Bring your family, friends, co-workers and fellow tree enthusiasts. Rain or shine, we'll be here with something to do for every physical activity level.
