What We Do
The Fort Worth Fire Department’s (FWFD) Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Program's mission is to minimize the loss of life and property due to fires, medical emergencies, and disasters. This is achieved through proactive education, engagement, and prevention strategies. The FWFD’s focus is on enhancing public safety, reducing risks before they escalate into emergencies, and fostering community resilience.
