Who We Are
The FWFD Community Risk Reduction program is in place to serve and protect our community through education, prevention, and preparedness.
What We Do
The Fort Worth Fire Department’s (FWFD) Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Program's mission is to minimize the loss of life and property due to fires, medical emergencies, and disasters. This is achieved through proactive education, engagement, and prevention strategies. The FWFD’s focus is on enhancing public safety, reducing risks before they escalate into emergencies, and fostering community resilience. To volunteer for our events, you must apply and all adults over 18 must complete a background screening and be approved to be a part of our program. Applicants under 18, must apply as well and fill out a parent consent form. We look forward to you joining us to make our community safer!
