R. D. Evans Community Center

If the charming brick arches outside of R.D. Evans Community Center immediately catch your eye, they should - because this center is something special. Not only is it located within walking distance of trails, fishing ponds, and even a dog park, but the center's innovative programming doubles down on creativity and education. Looking to pick up a new skill, or discover a new hobby? There's plenty to learn for people of all ages at R.D. Evans…including literacy and STEM initiatives for the kids, which always makes working parents happy. Those who need a break from the books can shoot some hoops in the gym or lift some free-weights in the fitness room. Whatever outlet you choose, there's always something new going on at R.D. Evans.

We have several different volunteer opprotunities. If you are looking to work with children, we have After School Program, Summer Day Camps, and School Break Camps. Kids have homework that they need help with, or you can help with STEM or art projects. We also have special events throughout the year that you can help with, like our Fall Festival.
