It’s beginning to look a lot like adoptions! FWACC will be joining the Historic Handley Development Corporation for the Handley Holiday Craft Fair 2025, and we’re bringing some of our adoptable dogs along to join in the holiday fun.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us make the day a success. Volunteers will help bring approved shelter dogs to the event and spend a few hours walking, monitoring, and sharing their holiday spirit with the crowd. You’ll also help answer questions, talk with potential adopters, and assist at the FWACC table.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Transport and handle an approved shelter dog at the event

Walk and monitor dogs alongside staff and fellow volunteers

Help engage with event attendees and share info about FWACC and adoptable pets

Assist with event setup and supporting the FWACC booth
This is an outdoor event, so dress for the weather and bring your best holiday cheer! You’ll be helping our dogs enjoy some well-deserved time out of the shelter and maybe even meet their future family.
