The Fitness Instructor leads engaging and inclusive exercise classes that promote health, wellness, and confidence within the community. This volunteer creates a positive and motivating environment while guiding participants through safe and effective workouts.
Responsibilities may include:
Leading group fitness classes such as dance, Zumba-style workouts, strength training, or other exercise sessions
Demonstrating proper form and technique to help participants exercise safely
Encouraging and motivating participants of different fitness levels
Planning simple, fun, and effective workout routines
Creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all participants
Communicating with staff about class needs, schedules, and equipment
