General Volunteer (EVENING)

Description

The Fort Worth Public Library is dedicated to serving our communities in many different ways. Library Volunteers assist staff with a variety of tasks that help keep our library running smoothly and create a welcoming space for all.  

Fort Worth Public Library’s volunteers support staff with daily tasks such as-

  • Display prep (cutting, measuring, taping materials)
  • Shelving Books
  • Shelf Reading 
  • Program prep (cutting, measuring, taping materials)
  • Catalogue assistance (finding materials on shelves)
  • Weeding
