The Fort Worth Public Library is dedicated to serving our communities in many different ways. Library Volunteers assist staff with a variety of tasks that help keep our library running smoothly and create a welcoming space for all.  

Fort Worth Public Library’s volunteers support staff with daily tasks such as-

  • Sorting
  • Processing
  • Helping shelve materials
  • Cleaning materials
  • Assisting with displays
  • Preparing program supplies
  • Assisting with classes
  • Addressing customer inquiries about computer
