Want to restore locally endangered Fort Worth Prairie habitat? Join us for volunteer workdays and natural history hikes at Oakmont Park.

Background: The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department is partnering with the Fort Worth chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas (FW-NPAT) to restore Fort Worth Prairie habitat on the Oakmont Park hill overlooking the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. FW-NPAT team leaders received funding from Constellation Energy via a grant to the North Central Texas chapter of Native Plant Society of Texas.
