We’re looking for passionate fosters and volunteers to help us connect with the public, share resources, and showcase how they can get involved in saving lives. This event is a great opportunity to engage with the community, answer questions about fostering and volunteering, and help guide potential new supporters into our programs - all while finding some amazing fosters and shelter pets a good home!
This event is in collaboration with other City of Fort Worth Departments and hosted in the field next to the YMCA at 9100 N Beach St.
For volunteers bringing shelter pets, please email our Volunteer Team if your are interested in a specific dog prior to the event. Dog must:
* Be Spayed/Neutered
* Be Dog Friendly
* Have no behavior concerns
If you do not have a specific dog in mind, our team can assist with finding you one!
Please make sure after you register for the event that you schedule your Doggy Day Out pickup appointment so our staff can be prepared when you arrive!
