Join us for Sip, Sit, Stay, Adopt at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, a fun, community-focused adoption event at Flying Saucer Draught Emporium! We’re looking for shelter volunteers to assist with transporting and handling adoptable pets, as well as foster families to bring their foster pets out for increased visibility and potential adoption. This is a great opportunity to showcase pets in a relaxed, social setting where they can connect with potential adopters outside of the shelter, share their stories, and help them find their perfect match. All participating pets should be behaviorally appropriate for a public environment, comfortable on leash, and volunteers should be ready to engage with the community and advocate for their pet throughout the event.
For volunteers bringing shelter pets, please email our Volunteer Team if your are interested in a specific dog prior to the event. Dog must:
* Be Spayed/Neutered
* Be Dog Friendly
* Have no behavior concerns
If you do not have a specific dog in mind, our team can assist with finding you one!
Please make sure after you register for the event that you schedule your Doggy Day Out pickup appointment so our staff can be prepared when you arrive!
