Event Description
Join us for Puppy Hour at Leaves Bakery & Books on May 16th and help give shelter pets their moment to shine! We are looking for volunteers and fosters to support this cozy, high-visibility event by handling dogs, engaging with potential adopters, and sharing information about fostering. Whether you are walking a pup, helping with meet-and-greets, or introducing your foster to their future family, your presence makes a direct impact. Volunteer Add-On:
Help a shelter dog get out and be seen! Volunteers will be responsible for picking up a dog from the shelter, transporting them to and from the event, and handling them during Puppy Hour. You will help facilitate meet-and-greets, talk with potential adopters, and advocate for your dog throughout the event. This is a great way to give a dog a break from the shelter while increasing their chances of finding a home. All supplies and dog information will be provided before the event.

Foster Add-On:
Show off your foster and help them find their perfect match! This is a great opportunity for your dog to be seen in a relaxed, real-world environment where their personality can shine. Please plan to stay with your foster throughout the event, bring any favorite items that help them feel comfortable, and be ready to share what makes them special with potential adopters. Events like this often create meaningful connections that lead directly to adoption.
