Event Description:
Join us at BoomerJacks for our Summer of Love Adoption Event and help shelter pets get the visibility they deserve. This high-energy, community-focused event gives our dogs the chance to get out of the shelter, decompress, and connect with potential adopters in a more relaxed environment.
We’re looking for volunteers and fosters to help bring this event to life—whether that’s walking dogs, assisting with meet-and-greets, or getting your foster seen! Events like this only succeed because of the people behind them.
By signing up, you’re helping create those moments—giving dogs a break from the shelter and a real chance to be seen, connect, and get adopted.
Volunteer Add-On:
Help a shelter dog get out and be seen! Volunteers will be responsible for picking up a dog from the shelter, transporting them to and from the event, and handling them during Puppy Hour. You will help facilitate meet-and-greets, talk with potential adopters, and advocate for your dog throughout the event. This is a great way to give a dog a break from the shelter while increasing their chances of finding a home. All supplies and dog information will be provided before the event.
